Adam Strongman- Instructor/Owner
Adam Strongman has over 20 years playing experience including 5 years of NCAA Division II baseball at the University of South Carolina- Aiken and Lander University where he was a first string Catcher, First Baseman and Designated Hitter. He has also spent 3 years playing for the Hamilton Thunderbirds in the Senior Intercounty Baseball League as a Catcher and Designated Hitter.
Adam has coached for the last 5 years in the United States and in Canada. While coaching in the United States, he worked at Emerald High School in Greenwood, South Carolina as the Catching Coach and at Stall High School in Charleston, South Carolina as the Head Assistant Coach.
As a coach in Canada, Adam has spent the last 3 years at the Bantam level in Ancaster, Ontario. During 2010, he coached the Ancaster Cardinals Bantam team to a 1st place finish in the Intercounty Regular Season, to a 2nd place finish at the Intercounty Championships and to a 4th place finish at the Provincial Championships. In 2011, the Bantam team won the Intercounty Championship and finished 6th at the Provincial Championships.
Recently, Adam has taken on a assistant coaching position under Head Coach Wayne Gowan with the McMaster Marauders Baseball team where Adam works with the hitters and catchers.
Ryan Blore - Pitching Instructor
Ryan has over 17 years of baseball experience. Ryan started playing baseball at the age of 5 and played his initial years in the Ancaster Little League system. He then played competitively on the Hamilton Cardinal OBA teams at the Bantam and Midget levels. At 16, Ryan moved to the advanced Elite baseball programs of the Oakville Royals and the Intercounty Terriers. Ryan pitched for both teams and played tournament baseball in the U.S in the SANDLOTT World Series in Nashville, Tennessee where the Terriers lost 3-1 in the championship game. Ryan also has played competitively against Junior College teams on tour in Texas and Florida.
In his Freshman year at Laurier University, Ryan pitched for the Golden Hawks. Ryan pitched for 3 years for the Hamilton Junior Cardinals Intercounty team. Since the age of 17, Ryan has been a pitcher solely and has dedicated his playing time to this position.
Jim Ridley, a Full time scout with both the Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins mentored and instructed Ryan from the ages of 6-18.
